ST. LOUIS, July 10, 2002 - Jeff Leonard, president of Leonard Masonry, Inc., has been elected to the board of governors for the Building Stone Institute (BSI), the American stone industry’s international association. Board members were elected at BSI’s 83rd annual convention in Palm Springs, Calif.
Founded in 1919, BSI is a non-profit trade association of quarriers, fabricators, dealers, importers, exporters, installers, carvers and restorers of all types of natural stone, with headquarters located in North Salem, N.Y. BSI is dedicated to the education and promotion of the greater specification, sale and use of all types of natural stone for every building purpose.
Leonard has been a member of BSI since 1991. He also has served as a board member for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of St. Louis. Leonard holds an engineering degree from Colorado State University.
Founded in 1959, Leonard Masonry, Inc. has grown to be the largest masonry contractor in St. Louis and is recognized for its fine craftsmanship and on-time work delivery within budget. Ranked as the sixth largest masonry contractor in the United States by Engineering News-Record (ENR), Leonard Masonry is a four-generation, family-owned business.
